How often do you drink alcohol?

In general I do not like alcohol. I sometimes like it in food, for example, a liqueur chocolate or red wine sauce, but otherwise the only drink I like is Bailey's, and I only drink that on Christmas and Boxing Day.

I enjoy wine with meals, or to relax or unwind, but it's definitely not a daily habit and I find that if I do drink it now interferes with my plans. For example, if I've been for a run, I think that a glass of wine will undo my good work. If I had a drink at lunch, I'd need to nap as I am a light weight. I tend to drive when I go out in the evening, and so would never drink if I am driving. I do enjoy wine, but it tends to now not fit in with my lifestyle.

I don't like it anymore. Not very often - only when flying interstate at the airline lounges and when offered on the plane. Sometimes in social situations through my work - that's it. Not often anymore.

Only on Christmas Day when I'm bonding with the extended family. Otherwise, I'm just too busy. I don't need a Plan B because we do Christmas at my place and besides, I'd only have two drinks anyway.

It was hilarious this year, I took myself to the bottle shop on Christmas Eve and took half an hour to select a bottle of wine. I came out with two, a red and a small bottle of dessert wine. We shared the red on Christmas Day and I still have the dessert wine unopened in my pantry. I guess we'll be drinking that next Christmas!
