I have moved 4 times which is an average of over 7 years on one place!
Last time I moved I had the whole kitchen packed by the removalists and that was wonderful - took so much stress out of moving as the kitchen is always a huge job with me, having dinner sets still from my parents that are 100 years old plus heaps of breakable collections of things!

I have moved six times. That's too many times for my liking but it was necessary. I moved at first for work then as the family grew we needed a larger place.
I have moved six times in my twenty six years.

I counted 9, but I have a feeling it may be 10?

In those days it was not because I wanted too, but because life was quite difficult and well it was just how the cards fell.

But! I have been in the house I am in now, and really feel I could do with a change, as you get sick of the same place(well I do!) too long.

I would like a different look now, and new neighbours! won't go into it , but yes I am ready to move on.
i am the opposite! I could stay forever in the one house - get used to it and love it!

I totally understand, a lot of people could stay in the one house.
If I could buy back the house I spent the best times as a child I would buy that house.
It still is standing....but at $1.7 million it will never happen.
I dream about it all the time too :( it's not much to look at,
but what it looks at!

Just once. I moved out of my parents home when I was married to the home we have now. We are both very happy here, and can't see the need to move. The next time we move will probably be to a retirement home or nursing home. I cant see the need to go through all the stress and upheaval of a move.
None! I've been in the same house since I was a little child. What a scary thought now though - I have SO much 'stuff' I reckon it'd take me three months just to pack it up!
Thee times wish I had stayed in my second house.
Been here for over 30 years. That means 0 moves. I have always said that the only way I leave here is in a box and I am sticking to that.
I've been in my house for 47 years now and wouldn't move. Had the kitchen and bathroom remodeled in 1990 which needed being done but other than thinking about changing tiles on toilet floor, am happy with it.
I have been in my house over thirty years and love it, although much in need of updating and renovations. The area has flourished with supermarkets and bunnings built within walking distance and I can walk to hospitals, city, restaurants and parks!, Why would I leave this area, And I would not be able to afford to buy in this area either, so I stay put!
I have been in this house since Sept 1988 so I can say that I have moved just ONCE during the past 30 years!!!! I am very content here and do not think I shall be moving any time in the near future!
I have moved three times. I don't like the hassle of moving house so none of the moves was because I really wanted to move, just relationship stuff, employment, life stuff..... Happy where I am
I have moved way more times than I care to think about. My Mom says I am a 'born Gypsey'.
Two . . .about to be three.

We haven't! We moved into the house we live in now, on the 5th of June 1979. After our parents have passed away, we may move from Sydney to Melbourne to be closer to our daughters & granddaughters!

I have moved a lot. I have moved 10 times over the past 30 years. That's a lot considering I'm only 33!

4 times - we have just had a major move 3 months ago after 16.5 years in the one country hamlet. We have moved 3.5 hours away to a bigger country property. I am so sick of packing and unpacking boxes - we had movers but I packed everything myself. Never want to see another box again.
