I like using scented candles and reed sticks.
Candles. Incense. Room sprays. Diffusers. I also like surrounding my home with beautiful, arty things including my own paintings.
Open the windows and welcome the delicate aromas of Jasmine and Rose as they float in from the garden. This also creates a gentle breeze, and there's nothing like a good breeze to freshen up a stuffy room.

Nice. I also like to let the jasmine scent and frangipanni scent flow through my house when they're in bloom.
Mmmm frangipanni.

I like to use an oil burner with water and a few drops of a nice essential oil. Soy wax melts are nice too, but a bit expensive. I've heard you can make your own room fragrances cheaply with things like cinnamon and orange peel but I haven't had a chance to try that out yet.
Scented candles and oil burners are my favourite. Also helps to have a clean house, so that you're not masking a bad smell, but instead creating a lovely smelling environment.
I've got room sprays for a quick fix if I've got guests, but don't find the smell lingers too long. I tend to mostly use candles in the evening.
I use a little room spray from the company that sell 'door-to door'.
The one that starts with 'A- - - '
It is a Rose one about $5 and is rather wonderful, and stays for a little while, I also like scented candles, but only the very good ones.
Other from that we get plenty of fresh air through the house in the morning.
I love vanilla scented candles for my home. That and baking always make the place smell nice and inviting!
Yes, baking works wonders!
I leave a big bowl of fruits in the room and soon it's filled with a fruity fragrance that is completely natural.

I like oil burners but too lazy to bother - so just fresh air for us
I spray air freshner with nice fragrance, or get fresh flowers.
Radhika, Fresh flowers come from a florist or supermarket or ones garden, not from a can.

Oil burners and scented candles.
I use scented candles and room fresheners.
I use scented candles and aromatherapy essential oils. For now I like Green Tea & Lemon, but some days I use peppermint, tea tree, tangerine or other citrus-based ones too (to rid the house of mosquitoes too).
'Glade' gels, lavender carpet powder & candles!
Just L O V E candles, but NOT sickly sweet perfumed ones!
Fave's are Lavender, 'Melon' or 'Oceanbreeze' types.
I burn candles. I get fabulous candles from Flametree Aromatics, a company based in Brisbane. My favourite is Black Raspberry which is absolutely gorgeous, almost too gorgeous to describe. The aroma permeates through the whole house - just love it!
