How do you feel about Drag Queens?

Love them! Drag Queens and cross dressers are fantastic. I love how they can apply their make up and do their hair better than I can. It's amazing to see the transformation.
I used to have an online shoe business and it was amazing that half my customers were men. I know some could be buying them for their wives,but my most popular sizes were size 15 and 16 - and I don't know any women with feet that big.

5' 2" women with size 15-16 feet . . . I'm with you! LOL. Well, if there were any they sure wouldn't fall over! Bahahahahahahaha.

For size comparison a womans size 15- 16 is approx a males size 12-13

Seriously clever with their makeup. The transformations are pretty crazy.

As an aside I watched Kinky Boots (the movie) a few weeks back. A lot better than I had expected.

BritishStorm, A friend saw the movie on tv, 3 weeks ago, but as we don't have a tv programme, I missed it. A male friend saw it on the stage about 2 weeks ago, & thought it was only OK, meaning he didn't rave about it.

I love the make up and costumes. They are very talented people, and do their nest to look just like the entertainers they mimic.

I love the theatre and spectacle of drag queens. The professional drag queens always have sensational legs! I think it's all fun and entertainment and showcasing great performing skills. I live just off Oxford Street in Surry Hills, Sydney and they're the colour and grace along Oxford Street. Love it !!

I guess you've seen the Au movie, Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert, Annalisa? It was also a stage show, but I only saw the movie, & I love it!

I have indeed - a few times !
I actually had a few friends work on the film and they had an absolutely fantastic time. However all the makeup done on the cast in the film were actually done by professional film make-up artists.

They're wonderful people. I was staying in Oodnadatta for a few weeks, in '99, '00 & '01, & I was taken out to the dessert, where a small part of the movie was made. Lovely scenery out there, & rock formations.

I think they are fantastic. Some you have to do a double take before you realise they are in drag. And as for those legs!! They could put most women to shame.
