Have you tasted crocodile, alpaca or snake meat?

I have tasted crocodile both in Perth and in Darwin.

It is really nice however far too expensive in Perth to buy.

It WAS cheaper in Darwin and there are a few other products made from it -I had a "dip" on a tour I did -you would not have known what it was anyway, and I really liked it.

I believe alpaca/llama meat is very good but having bred llamas, it is one food I could probably not eat.

As I am not the hugest red meat eater in the world,I would not even wish to try Alpaca.I have always wanted to try crocodile though as living in the tropics,there afre many places where it is available.Snake is something I would eat if I was very hungry

snake is probably also quite nice similar to crocodile I would think.

I have been told that this is more true of the Fresh-water croc than the big Salties,just because of the nature of the environment they live in. So many restaurants and even specialty butchers are now very much aware of the popularity of Crocodile meat up here,that it is not that dificult to get hold of. Maybe this will be my quest for the Festive Season

I haven't tried any of those - I have never had the desire to try them either. Not sure if I would try them if they were in front of me

Have eaten meat of Crocodile, Snake, Water Buffalo & Clam.
Enjoyed them all!
Always up for a culinary challenge.....
