Have you read and/or seen Harry Potter and do you love or hate it?

Oddly I have absolutely NO interest in Harry Potter movies or books.

My grandchildren love them, however they do not appeal to me and I do not quite know why.

I like sci fi movies but these are different -not sure why I have no interest in them!

So I guess i dislike them.

WHAT?! I suggest maybe even giving a page a read - the books are so much better than the films, as always.

Big fan, read most of the books. watched and rewatcheded all the movies and own them on bluray, good that these books got kids reading again either hard cover or ebooks...

That was the most wonderful thing . . . to see kids reading!! I love J.K. Rowling for that.

I never had an interest in Harry Potter. I watched 2 of the movies because someone else wanted to watch them at the time.

I tried watching it twice and slept half way through the movie. I have not read any book either. I do not like it I guess. It is good to know I am not alone :) Thanks for asking this question Finy !

I read all the books as they were relkeaed and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The movies were also very enjoyable to me,but then I DO collect Antique Illustrated Children's Books for a hobby!!!

I've read all the books and thoroughly enjoyed them, though I do think they should have been better edited - the later books were sloppily constructed and could have been tighter and shorter, in my opinion.
I've no desire to watch the films though. I never like watching films based on books I've enjoyed reading!

I've read all the books and seen a few of the movies. I enjoyed them and will be reading the books to my kids when they're a bit older. They may not be "great literature" but they're a lot of fun.

Not a big fan of the series. Couldn't get into the movies after the first couple of them. They got a bit redundant and too much fantasy. Couldn't keep up.

The only good thing about HP books is it got kids reading.

I hope they continue, but read something a bit more cerebral!

I have now seen the 1st 2 of the H.P. movies. The 1st 1 about 3 months ago The 2nd I was from our local library & I watched it last week, during April '19.

I've read every book and watched all of the films. I am a huge fan!
