The UN says East Africa’s deadly famine is the worst humanitarian crisis since WWII, but many people haven't even heard about it. Have you?

Since I was about 12 I have heard for 51 years of the dreadful famine that has spread over Africa.
To see since I first heard about it, that it has had no end.
The human suffering!
My Church have mission's they go to Africa, and help with whatever they can.

I have given over the many years, and will continue to do so...
I just find it very hard that the worlds Billionaires, can not help the people to re-settle where crops could be grown, and clean water.

GOSH! I wish I had the money they do, because I would spend years trying to help over there.
I can not understand.......for the life of me, how the rest of the World, can let this go by.

I'd like to believe that karma will get them. Funny how the ones who can afford it the least are the most willing to help.

I am just learning of this now. I really wish I could do something and not just be sorry for these persons,😢
It is so awful that I am often reduced to tears over the inhumanity of it all. Who hardens their heart to watch children die on television???!!!

I donate as often as I can and have bought goats, chickens, seed, water purifiers etc over the years. It is really only a few dollars in the grand scheme of things.

Forgive me for sounding ill-advised or unhinged, but I can't help but feel that the situation in Africa has been orchestrated - at least to some extent.

That doesn't answer the question, does it? No, not until I received an e-mail.

Undoubtedly you are correct, Vee. Sadly. I think it's about keeping the masses down :((((

There has been a. Famine in Africa ever since I have been alive. I would have thought that the government and people would have learnt sustainable farming techniques by now.i know it sounds cruel, but it is natures population control. People the world over have been donating food, animals and money, and sponsor children, but it doesn't seem to make much difference. I dont know what else can be done to help.
Yes I have heard of Africa's famine, I think that's been like that thruout out there whole lives, I feel for the children, I don't know where they get the energy to make more children, I feel they ought to be sterilised.
