Have you ever worn bangles?

A friend brought me some bangles like those pictured back from Sri Lanka. I like the sparkliness of them and the sound they make when I wear them, but I don't wear them often because they get in the way when I'm doing housework and stuff and I don't go out without my kids often.

I used to wear them more often when I was younger. Now I find them a bit inconvenient to wear, but I do appreciate when I see others wearing them. Bangles are beautiful, come in all types of colours and styles, with dangling bells and wide ones and silver and gold and plastic and glass. I used to have a lot of them, but slowly, phased them out.

No I haven't worn bangles as I don't really wear jewellery. They are very pretty though.

Yes, I have been given some lovely bracelets as gifts over the years but the most special is my Pandora charm bracelet, given to me for my 50th birthday. Each charm on it is from someone special in my life and I treasure it a great deal.

I wear bangles but not the kind in the photo.

I had about 5 gold ones until my birthday a few years ago, I had several of them melted down and had the most beautiful one made from the gold.

I now have three which are all lovely.

Had a gold bracelet when I was a child. I still like bracelets now. Not bangles, they annoy me!

Every time I go out, I’ve worm them for as long as I can remember. I bought 110 Indian ones, in 5 different colours, while in India for a wedding in ‘2013. These were to match the 3 outfits I was wearing over the 3 nights of the wedding. I also wear 3 gold bracelets, full time. ALL of my bracelets, only fit on my left hand.
