Have you ever participated in an honour library?

No, but I like the idea. The closest I have come to that is Bookcrossing (www.bookcrossing.com) where you leave a tagged book in a public place for others to find and can pick up books others have left. Sort of like an honour library but you are not actually obliged to leave books and are free to keep the ones you find if you prefer.
