Many years ago I was sued for selling an obscene poster in my retail shop.
The lawyer who took it on did so gratis as he had been fined for a similar thing while he was studying law!

I have also had to use lawyers, barristers during my last divorce. That was horrible -bill got to about $50,000 and I ended up having to pay my rich ex partner!

Still reel every time I think about it....anyway am happier but poorer now.

now now, Vee -I was about 25 at the time and quite innocent -they had a precedent -it was just when sex shops were opening and they were fining them all left right and centre! nowadays no one would bat an eyelid. But I think we had a record after that! wonder if i still have it....yeeks, finy the criminal

Yes. I used ythem for my divorce and for my Lifetime Lease on my home now that my son has taken over the mortgage because I cannot work any more. The peace of mind associated with doing things well,or properly has proven well worth the cost for me,even though I have been very broke afterwards!! Just more proof to me that Money is not the be-all and end-all in my life!!
Yes...I have.
Aren't you the secretive one -I meant in personal life, not work!

Yes, to make out Will. That way, I know it's done properly.
Yes - for the purchase of successive homes and investment property during our married life. Probably used them about half a dozen times over the last 50 years.
Only for the purpose of a Will.
