Have you ever held a party at your home that has turned into a drama?

We held a 16th birthday party for our daughter at our home. We thought we had everything covered: entry lists, registered the party with police, security at the front of the house, neighbours helping by keeping an eye on things.

What we didn't consider was that gate crashers would cut through our back neighbours yard, jump the fence and crash our party. They caused a lot of trouble and ruined what should have been a happy night. We have no idea who they were or where they came from but were very glad to see them leave.

Fortunately or Unfortunately I had never held a party at my house. I Grew up in a conservative family. Even after leaving home many years ago I have not had the though of hosting a party.
That's awful! Thankfully no that has never happened to me.
It was really awful and we haven't had another party at home since. Scarred us and both sets of neighbours for life, I think!
Never been gate crashed before, but we hold very few parties. The last we had at out house was over ten years ago. It would be very difficult for people to get over our fence though.
Have had parties. Luckily, all went smoothly.

No I have been very lucky, but! if it did happen I would be the first to call the Police.
