I saw this being done while at the hairdresser the other day.
One of the staff made a scarf in about 20 minutes and it looked great.
I have since looked it up online and it is quite easy though not quite sure how to "cast on", but will try it with some of the llama wool that I have from when I bred llamas, and spun the wool!
I have indeed seen this, though it was only in the past few years.I used to do 'Finger' knitting when I was a kid and it also was very quick and easy. The memories of that simple craft came flooding in when I first saw the 'Arm' knitting,as I do see a connection there. It is a brilliant idea when you wish to make a genuine surprise gift for someone in a hurry!!
someone has kindly sent me the following link for anyone who wants to try it....

I have never seen anything like this!!
I LOVE it!
Wow, that is really something else, whoever came up with this idea is once again in my book a Genius.
Love it...Love it :) yes I would try it, for sure.
The application I think for older people and young alike, is really great.
I think it would be nicer done by a child as the holes are really big on an adult! Or a thin arm!
I think it is such a great application, that should be loved by all arm sizes...whoever wants to do it go ahead, I think it would give great pleasure to all. :) I don't care really, it's just so unique!
I should post how to do it on a craft hub! Guess someone else will after this question...
LOL Jonah -but i havent yet done it so by the time I do it, someone else will have pinched the idea!!
