I have been going to the podiatrist for about 15 years now - I go every 10 weeks on a health care plan.
I have never had an ingrown toenail and I feel sure that by going regularly to a podiatrist, it helps!
I have had corns which they showed me how to fix and since going regularly I no longer have a problem with painful corns or anything foot related.
I can highly recommend seeing a podiatrist 5 times a year, which is the amount you get on the Medicare health plan for seniors, I think it is.
