I have had my back massage done using a T.E.N.S machine at a doctor's office 2 years ago. I cannot express how relaxing it was and how much lighter I felt later. It was like somebody was kneading into my muscles and all the knots dissolved. Heavenly !

I have never had a massage with a T.E.N.S. machine but I had physio on my knee after an injury when I was nineteen. The device used for my physio treatments used an electric current like the T.E.N.S. but was used to strengthen the muscle around my knee instead of massage. It worked, but it certainly didn't feel like a massage.
You are right. It is more like electric current !

No I haven't used one or had one.
I think it would be great for those who really must need to use one, at home.
I may myself look into it, after having a big issue with the back of one of my legs.
Glad to have seen this Topic!
Could be just what I need :)
I am trying to find one too Jonaj ! Saw one on eBay for $45 but I need to find out about the warranty and reviews. If you find something awesome meanwhile , let me know :)

No and never. Having read the below comments, I am intrigued. I do enjoy my massages.

Yes, I own my own machine. It's not just for massage but also pain relief - the electrical currents interrupt the pain signals going to the brain and sometimes it's the only thing that can help me when my back is bad.
I would heartily recommend obtaining one! Though it can be a bit tricky getting the patches in the right places when it's somewhere hard to reach....
That sounds so relaxing ! Which one do you have ?

Ummmmmm no idea! I've had it a long time and the box got lost several moves ago.... sorry that's not helpful. I bought it in my local pharmacy if that helps.
Thanks Verity :)

Yes, I had neck problems once and the physiotherapist used this. I can;t say I though it made a lot of difference. He said it should fell like ants walking over me rather than ants biting me ...hmmm?
Oh that's sad :( I am guessing he/she didn't try kneading option , it's much better than those electric pulses .

Yes I own a T.E.N.S. Machine and use it often as I suffer from bilateral sciatic and lower back pain I wouldn't be without it as it helps enormously to be able to walk with less pain.
I have bilateral sciatica so have my own machine, it works a treat.
