Have you ever gotten anything stuck up your nose?

Not my nose but when I was little I heard a story on the radio about taking temperature in the ear (it was talking about technology that had only just been invented and wasn't in use yet but I was 4 so I didn't get that). I went to the bathroom and got the old mercury thermometer and put it in my ear. I was walking downstairs to show mum and CRUNCH it broke lol. We had to go to the dr to make sure I didn't have an earful of mercury.

Everyone told me you couldn't take temperatures in ears …. but I WAS RIGHT!!!! ner ner ner ner and all that.

No, never. But this does remind me of a story in which one of my sisters got a small part of a toy stuck up her nose. She had to go to the doctor's surgery to get it taken out. She was only little.

Was never THAT stupid, thank goodness!
One hears 'horror' stories' of what some kids' put up their noses' AND in their ears'.
