Flying is a wonderful experience. It was the best during the '70's & '80's.

I have no relatives abroad and I have no desire to visit another country. I can do everything I want right here.

As not on my flight routes, no, but have been on USA carriers', Trans World (mostly), United, & PanAm.

They were good Airlines to fly on, back in the day.

yes.... they promised to upgrade me as I was pregnant and not doing so well.... then changed their mind midair.. They send me a $100 Gift Certicate...

Yes. I travel frequently to the US, and have used many airlines. Several years ago I did fly American Airlines. Can't say I was too impressed with their service though. I think one of the best airlines is Air Canada, for their friendliness and efficiency. One of the worst was Qantas, mainly because of the rudeness of their staff.

In all my years' having to fly, I NEVER once encountered 'rude staff' on QANTAS,
Quite the opposite actually!

I firmly believe that any 'service industry' person's response, depends on how they're spoken to...........they're not employed to take 'rudeness' from ANY customer, & neither should they!
Times' have changed, thank goodness!

donjo - I responded to a question and gave my opinion. You seem to have a problem with people who don't agree with you - perhaps you should lighten up a bit!
