Yes, I have eaten a Lindt dark chocolate with chili and it is very good.
However I prefer the ones that are marked 70% cacao as they are healthy!! LOL
I have one block of Lindt every night and it is now almost the only sweet thing I have.
I would not get the chilli again as I eat enough chilli in savoury food, so although I liked it, I will stick to plain dark chocolate.
Not particularly chilli or hot anyway!
Hi Finy, How do you manage to stay so slim when you eat a block of chocolate a night? That would make me sick, as much as I love (only) dark chocolate! My husband a I share a square of Lindt chocolate every night. That's enough for us, or we'd be VERY fat!
not a block - one PIECE!!
Phew that's a relief! We share a square, but if I lived alone, I would also eat a whole square per night. Sorry I misread, block for a square Finy!
LOL miro - you didnt misread - I mis wrote! English was not my first language -that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!
Yes we've eaten the Lindt chilli with dark chocolate, & I love it, but I like to try every new dark chocolate that come out. We share 1 square a night, not I whole block of chocolate like Finy eats. That would make me feel sick, & it would also make me VERY, VERY fat!! How can Finy stay so slim, while she's eating a block of chocolate a night? I'd better ask her!
miro -I dont eat a whole block! am horrified at the thought - i eat one square
I'm not sure. I would probably say no. There are some wonderful chocolate shops and factories that we have visited. They always have a tasting platter so you can try the different flavours before you buy. I can't remember trying a chilli chocolate, but I say for sure. I have heard that it is supposed to be very nice. We usually visit these shops for a hot drink, not the chocolate, but sometimes we will get a chocolate to go with our drink.
I had a little pce, and it's different!
I LOVE the new ideas now with Chocolate, lets face it we have come a long long way.
It is one of life's best pleasures, so 'why-not' experiment!
Lindt seem to have for me the handle on chocolate making, and new experiences.....even if you are not that happy with such a combo, you don't totally loose out.
Not being overly fond of Chilli, I have never been tempted by this combination, despite many people I know who really do enjoy it! I shall simply continue to eat and enjoy the wonderful varieties of great quality chocolate which I know I love!
Yes, had commercial & home made which I bought in the Central Market. Commercial was only JUST what I'd call chilli but the home made was chilli, pleasant & not really hot. Very nice!
