Have you ever earned money doing something you really disliked?

No, I can't remember doing anything I really disliked.

When I was younger I could pick and chose what job I wanted, there was no "dole" and we all had jobs and in fact not all jobs got taken.

So I always got the jobs I went for and didnt have to do anything I didn't like to make money.

I then started my own business which I ran for some 26 years.

Well I worked in the State Govt in admin jobs for years and years....really didn't have a lot of choice as was left as a sole parent when my son was 18 months and had to stay in something secure and flexible when bringing him up.
What a joy when I was able to change and do something I actually wanted to and had control over ie my business now.

I have always enjoyed every single job I have ever had,and in fact never took a single sick day until I had a brain tumor removed!! My dad always said to choose a job we like,then we will never work a day in our lives!!! How true!!!

Aaaah Yes!! I bless every wise piece of advice received from this wonderful man! He is a truly wonderful human being and has taught me the most important things from his own experiences.These are legacies worth so much more than money. I am very humbled to have such a loving and caring parent.

I did have jobs that had bad bosses.
They would yell, or be quite unfair years ago (40yrs).
I hated going to work, but had too.
Glad those awful days are gone now.

I wish. I have almost always had jobs I disliked. I've worked in call centres - horrible job - I've worked in fast food - Not as bad as call centres but not enjoyable at all. There are others, but call centre work was the worst.

I've had two jobs thus far, neither of which I've really disliked. Dealing with some customers and working Friday and Saturday nights weren't the best though.

Yes I did a rep job 10yrs ago and the way the shop managers treat you I had appointments lined up and they always kept you waiting and that made you late for the next one,and the travelling was stressful,so after about a year had to give up the pay wasn't worth it

Its more the workplace than the job. I've had some bad workplaces but I liked my jobs.

Yes. Waitressing. Had to help-out a woman, who'd broken her ankle! It was only for two weeks, thank goodness. Absolutely HATED every minute of it, but I had no choice, in the circumstance.

Working as a Prison Officer, the money was good, left when I found a more interesting Job.
