Have you ever dived in the water, came up only to realise your top or bottom has fallen down?

Yes, this happened often for me when I used to swim and dive a lot.

I always wore a bikini in those days and they just do not stay up when you dive in the water.

Mostly I knew when it had fallen off and therefore pulled it up while still underwater, however there was a few times when I didnt realise, and came up with boobs hanging out -how embarrassed I was -thought the whole world had seen me!

Or the other thing is the pants ride up which is also embarrassing....

Yes, I've lost mine in the ocean. I was only eleven or so at the ime so there wasn't much to see but I was pretty embarrassed!

No,because I do not dive!!! I have had a fear of water since nearly drowning when I was 7,and I only go into water of any kind if I am in total control of the situation.If I do not know the other people who are there,I cannot risk that they will not fool around and innocently throw me in water where I cannot touch the bottom! It is pretty embarrassing at my age,but such is life! I made certain tyhat my son could swim as earely as he could walk! This was for 2 reasons: Safety obviously,and also the tremendous fun he can enjoy!

I was totally upset.

Yup, I remember getting smacked by a wave in just the perfect way when I was in my teens, it took my bottoms right off. Luckily the Atlantic ocean is somewhat murky and I got them back on before any noticed anything.

No I haven't. I didn't wear a bikini for very long in my teens either. In fact I still have it. It's a tiny orange, black & yellow 'knitted' in cotton 1. I didn't make it, I bought it, but I can't remember where from. Our daughter loves all things VINTAGE, so I'll give it to her! Ops...right of the question again!
