I bought both the other day as I could not decide which one I liked best.
However I think it would be the orange covered in smooth dark chocolate - ANYONE'S MOUTH WATERING YET?
The orange has a slight bitter taste which just goes so well with the rich dark chocolate.....
These have been my favourites since my 60's and 70's childhood in Melbourne, along with Choc coated Orange Peel which my parents would buy as special little treats rather often, and we ,as kids, were allowed to just have ONE!!! I am also very fond of choc-coated Freeze Dried Strawberries, and Choc-coated Freeze Dried Raspberries as I adore the mix of the Tangy fruit with the chocolate! I figure that if I am going to have something special,I shall pay the extra money to get something quite exceptional and special!! I now buy these items online more so than in any stores as theyare rather difficult to find! I have also had a dear friend send some up to Nth Qld for me from where she lives!! Lucky Me!!!!
I simply cannot do chocolate and orange together. Even as a small child I would give anything choc-orange away. I can't really say I would want chocolate on my apricots either but it would be okay as compared to the orange. Oh, and it would have to be dairy milk chocolate, not dark.
Fruit and chocolate just don't go together in my book. There are some exceptions, like chocolate covered strawberries, but I really have to be in the mood for it.
