All-inclusive vacations are simple, easy and relaxing but often, less adventurous. An all-inclusive vacation is a vacation package where everything is included, from flights to accommodations, to food and booze. Have you ever been on an all-inclusive vacation? Did you enjoy it? Where did you go?

I have only been on one all-inclusive vacation, back in 2007. My wife, then girlfriend, went to Mexico. It was our first and only trip outside of North America. We loved the resort we stayed in. The food was hit or miss, but the hits were real hits, and the beach was great.
Yes, very recently (like, in the last fortnight)! Best thing ever - everything was taken care of - from accommodation to entertainment to transport. It makes life so much easier and getting around has never felt so seamless and enjoyable!
That was our experience too, loved it! Even more, I needed the break from everything normal. I felt so refreshed when the week was over.
I love to go off beaten path so I so I rather go to a B & B and make my way around. I love hanging out with the locals too.

Yes indeed, my lover and I just love Club Med really great place they have and do I all for guests !
15 day QANTAS 'Jetabout' Tour of SE Asia, for honeymoon!
Best places: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur & Penang's Batu Ferringhi Beach.

7 day Tour of Sthn Ireland, then onto 7 day Tour of Sthn Spain. Wow! Fabulous cities' & countryside. Not too impressed with Madrid, & definitely NOT with Torremolinos.
Was in Seville, when Princess Diana died. RIP

7 day Tour of Egypt, including Nile Cruise. The Pyramids' ARE really big!

25 day QANTAS 'Jetabout' Tour of 'National Parks of Western America & Canada'. Superb!

7 day Tour of Western Tasmania. Wild, beautiful part of that State.

7 day Tour of 'The Pilbara'. Just plain, 'earthy gorgeousness'!

25 day Tour from Alice Springs to Cairns, via Derby, Broome, Kununurra, Fitzroy Crossing, Hall's Creek, Katherine, Mataranka, Daly Waters, Escott Station, Normanton, & Croydon.
It showed us where we DIDN'T want to go in our own 4WD!

School Tours to Melbourne & Snowy Mtns, 15 days each, twelve months' apart! Everything was just fascinating to a 17yo!

I've loved ALL my Inclusive Tours, they're a great way to travel, as you're NOT putting 'your hand in your pocket' every five minutes' to pay for something!
I have to agree with that last statement, I barely spent any extra money when we did our all-inclusive. It's a great way to do a vacation when you need to stick to a particular budget!
Too true, drgwriting! Cheers!

Nope. I was about to buy one for our honeymoon on Maldives but we ended up buying the normal honeymoon package instead.
Yes I have been to Club Med and also on a cruise, however if I were travelling to Europe for example, I would not take an all inclusive holiday as I hate being herded around like cattle, and having to meet downstairs at 6 am and things like this....I think I would rather not go.

Funny you should ask this, my husband and I were just debating whether our next holiday should be an all-inclusive one! We have never been on one as we prefer to stay more off the beaten track and create our own adventures but lots of other parents have sung the wonders of all-inclusive holidays for being brilliant for little ones..... so we are considering it.
No but I find myself googling them when I am feeling tired and worn out. Just the thought of it tends to lift my energy and spirits!
