Have you ever been on a ski lift, or is it on your bucket list?

Yes, I have - one year I took a holiday in victoria to the snow and had lessons private/ Didn't help though -i still could not ski.

Also had problems with one ski lift where you had to put the thing between your legs and GO> I kept falling off, and in the end was so embarrassed, I stopped trying as no one else was having a problem.

I liked the one which stopped while you climbed in like in the picture, and like I went in when touring Europe and the mountains!

I have been on Chair lifts many times,and I LOVE them, but I have never been on a SKI lift due to not coping with cold at all,and thus having no desire to be within Cooee of snow !!!!!

No, no, no and no. Not in Scotland, not in Canada, not in Hong Kong, not in NZ. I will never get on a chair lift. I can't even do a closed in gondola. I hate heights, yet I love flying.

Oh! Rice........ huge difference between a ski lift or gondola, & a fully enclosed cigar-shaped, aluminium, highly powered machine, driven by a technically-trained human.............

Himself went up Ben Nevis in a gondola . . . .I had lunch and drank hot chocolate . . . . he came back as white as snow because the gondola had been buffeted about so badly and got smacked into the home shed walls on the way back in. I just smugly finished my hot chocolate. Ha! This is the man who expects me to go up in a chair life to see the Buddha in Hong Kong! Mercifully, it was out of order when we were there.

I have never been on a ski lift because I have never been skiing, so I have no need to. It isn't on my bucket list, as I have no desire to go anywhere where it snows or is cold enough for it to snow.

It wasn't a ski lift because there was no snow or ski resort, but I have been on one of those lifts before that took me down from a high hill. It was a long time ago, so I can't remember where or when it was.

Have been on a chair-lift, at local Showgrounds, & over beautiful gardens at the Prater, in Vienna.
Also in enclosed gondola over Jamieson Valley, Katooma, NSW.
Also at Banff, & ascending Hafelekar, near Innsbruck.

Loved them all!

Yep, lots of times when I used to go skiing in Hotham, Falls & Bulla. LOVED it all; the skiing, chairlifts, pomas, although came off once when it stopped mid-way then started again with such a jerk forward I went backwards! But apart from that my experiences of skiing, etc., were wonderful. And I was a young woman then too :))

I would like to experience snow but not to ski as im positively sure I'd cause an accident or be in one. Yes its on my bucket list .
