Have you ever been kayaking on the ocean?

Ocean kayaking is a different experience from river or lake kayaking. Ocean kayaks are larger than river or lake kayaks. The water can get very choppy when compared to a lake, and you don't get the same freedom to deal with rough water the way you do with a tiny river kayak. Have you ever been? If not, would you go, given the chance?

I've kayaked on a lake, but never on the ocean. My wife and I were planning on doing an ocean kayak tour the last time were on the shores of the Atlantic but the tour was cancelled due to bad weather.

I have tried kayaking on the river but found it rather difficult as had a back injury and the rowing moevment hurt my back.

I have not done it in the ocean but would imagine it is the same.

I've never tried but I'm sure it would be a blast. I must say I'd be a bit scared about a big shark coming along and harassing me, though.

I,ve never been kayaking in the ocean, but I have in the port river with an instructor, my husband bought me a mother's day outing, and it was great fun, and ofcourse I got to see the dolphins, that was my hi light.

I haven't used a kayak on the ocean but paddled a canoe in Grade 3 water conditions. Boy, what a struggle that was.😂

I have never kayaked in the ocean, but I have been in a river, ans seeing the dolphins was a plus.
