I have actually done it once when my partner was verbally abusing me and I just got sick of his behaviour and did not want to hear any more.

I have also done it behind someone's back but that was more of a joke thing as there were a few of us.

You did the right thing when not listening to the abusing Finy. You need to filter stuff sometimes.

Yes, lol, I cannot remember the exact circumstances but it was as a joke.

Only when I'm being silly, but yes LOL
Only as a joke.
I would not do it seriously....like people have done to me!
Only when the other person is way too fast while talking. Otherwise, I do listen well. Sometimes I feel like I am a really quiet listener and the other person might think I am not really listening when all I am trying to do is not cut them off between sentences.

I have done, sometimes as a joke and sometimes to make a more serious point but in a light-hearted fashion. This is when someone else is talking but not listening to me, I've tried asking them to be quiet for a minute and listen but they've not paid any attention so then I've done the fingers in the ears and going "lalalalalaaaaaaa" trick. It usually shuts people up but then they are too offended to listen anyway, so it only achieves half the objective!
No, I don't recall ever doing this.
Only ever as a joke and never behind someone's back

Only to Tony Abbott
Never - I think this is a really rude thing to do. I'd feel awful if someone did that to me.
