Have you ever been caught on a police radar, or a camera at traffic lights?

I have been caught once on a hand held radar, and have been caught once at traffic lights though cannot remember what it was for -it was so long ago.

I don't generally speed as there is little point in it though I do get impatient with some of the very slow drivers as well as those who weave in and out to gain a second or two.

No, I have never been caught by any of these. I am a very conservative driver, much to the chagrin of the men in my family, but what can I say, they've had fines.

Yep. Once. Red light whilst dealing with squabbling children. I was devastated.

Once in 1974.

Once in 1994.

I got off for the one in 1994, because of my driving record.
All point given back, no fine.

Well I've been snapped by speed cameras on three occasions, though all those were donkeys years ago. My licence is clean these days!
As for going through a red light, never. That is very dangerous and stupid and something I would never do. Going a few miles above a speed limit on a deserted country lane or motorway is one thing but potentially causing an enormous collision at a junction is just wrong.

Went along road, which I hadn't travelled on for a few years' at 70kph.
It had changed to 60kph. Didn't see new sign as was merging with traffic streaming down on my my right. Cop stood out in front of my car. I explained situation to no avail, got fined. That was 1991.

More recently, went through yellow light turned red. Camera photographed. $340 fine & 3 points which don't expire until end of this year. Ouch! Am VERY careful at those lights now, as have to travel through them constantly. My bad!

Me too. arrow turned red whilst in middle of intersection so I chose to get out of that situation fast! However, the camera caught me and yes that hefty fine of $340 hurt bad as I am a pensioner! I am extra cautious at all intersections now LOL

No never, I try to obey the road rules at all times and do not drink if driving.
I would like to see more unmarked cars on the roads than Police using speed cameras.
This would help drivers to moderate their driving behaviour by not knowing where an unmarked Police car may be operating rather than drivers who have passed the speed cameras going back to driving at high speed.
The unknown unmarked Police car is by far a bigger deterent.
