I actually thought they were a mixture of a mandarin and an orange but read different recently.

They are quite sweet with a "tang" of bitterness and are really nice and easier to eat than an orange and different to a mandarin -they are juicier.

These are a delicious alternative to the more well known and common Orange! They are already in the shops at a fairly good price,so they are no longer a rare specialty fruit as they used to be. I love all fruit,so it is a given that these would make my top winter list!!

I haven't tried them. On the whole I'm not too keen on mixed up fruits and vegetables, I like both tangerines and grapefruits and I think I'm happy to keep on eating them separately!

Yes, I also LOVE persimmons, Dongo, but I didn't get to taste any last summer, as they don't seem to be in season for very long.

Yes I have eaten Tangelos they are juicy and a beautiful taste.
Much better than a Mandarin.
A nice change to eating an Orange, great enjoying the mixed flavour of a mandarin and orange.

My favourite citrus fruit. Unfortunately I think that citrus in general is now out as I fight late life eczema.

Ive never heard of them till now. Not a fan of grapefruit but would be willing to give it a try!

Yes, they are delicious.
Very juicy and nicer than mandarins or ordinary oranges.

Yes they are so juicy and sweet, can't imagine them being mixed between Tangerine to create Tangelo as they show none of the sour taste of grapefruit.
