Some people name their cars. My husband has named his car ‘White Betty’. Does your car have a name? Did you name it or did somebody else name it?

No. My old car was named Rove, nickned by my flatmate. It was stolen and burnt out and I haven't bothered to name a car since.
I don't have a personal car, and our family car is not named.
Nope.
Not into naming cars really, can't remember mine some days..
That by the way is a true story!
Police officer said 'what is your name'.
I was so upset, snapped at him and said ''I don't know right now''!!!!!!!
It's a long story.
No. I love my car and think it's super cute and I have always developed a close personal relationship with my vehicle, but I have never named them. I always give names to the letters on the number plate to help me remember it though.
I do that too.

If you use the 'Phonetic Alphabet', it's very easy to remember! eg 123-XYZ, would be 123-X-ray-Yankee-Zulu.
Once you start using it, & many Assist Services do......Police, Ambo's, SES, Fireries, as well as ATC, Airlines, & Shipping.
It's International, so words don't get confused. Same goes for '24 Hour Clock', once used, not forgotten! Cheers, ladies!

No mine doesnt, but my daughter in laws does, and I always think how stupid it sounds when they call the car by a name -which has now escaped me....

When my car goes to the 'doctors' they don't write its' rego on paperwork, just its' name! Lol!

No, but only because in NSW where we live, you pay an outright price, then keep paying a smaller price each year. In Vic, you only pay a certain amount once. That’s why there are a lot more personalised No plates in Vic than NSW! Sorry, I was reading that question as in a personalised No plate name! No, our car doesn’t have a name.
I call my car 'HondaSan' - hoping that respecting it will give me years of save travel :-)
Joy.
