For me my anti virus stops a lot of that problem, so I only get a very tiny amount.
Nothing to give me any grief, I really have to say.
So much. Sometimes I'm waiting several minutes before I can scroll down a page because of the stupid adverts - especially if they are animated ones.
You should get that looked at, it's not normal if it is taking you that long. What antivirus do you use?
I don't as I have a Mac. It's all Mavericks fault. Ever since I got the OS update my laptop has been as slow as a snail.
Take me for ever to scroll too.
I think these slows your computer one way or the other. For one, it uses up some percentage of your processing capacity as well as your computer's memory. Once an ad loads, your computer is affected to some extent whether it be great or small.
I have NBN so it's pretty much ok.
I think internet advertisements will slow down your computer.
Not usually. The only time it bothers me is on realestate.com.au on which the ads seem to take an interminable time to load.
Yes. Ive noticed everything lags using google chrome but Mozilla and Safari works well. Does my head in that much, I just want to rage quit (F10).
No I don't think internet advertising really slows my computer down -however it probably slows down my i pad as this is way slower than my much older PC/microsoft.
So the problem is perhaps with Apple?
I've tried using Mozilla, as per the above suggestion, and I'm finding it much faster.
