I have a love-hate relationship with slippers. They can keep your feet warm, but they can also make your feet sweat – eek! So, sometimes I wear them and sometimes I don’t.
Do you wear slippers during winter? Why or why not?

Yes, I normally wear ugg boots - so comfy and amazing!
I do. Just noticed this week that it's cold enough to wear them now.
I've never worn slippers. I don't see the point when I can just wear my shoes.
I wear a little pair of flat canvas shoes and they keep me warm.I do have a pair
of those warm light weight fluffy boots, but unless it is below minus....I don't wear them.
I wear slippers because we have tiled floors and no carpets. If I don't wear them, my feet get really cold and take a long long time to warm up. So I prefer to wear slippers.
I am wearing slippers right now as I respond to Qs and As on Answer Angels!
brrr, after this last weekend, you betcha!
Gotta wear slippers keep your toes nice an warm think I need to get a new pair for this winter they never last me long
I know. Damn planned obsolescence. Mine never last more than one season.
Yes i wear slippers during winters. It keeps the legs warm.
I am wearing them right now. Since I work from home I wear slippers more than I wear normal shoes. I love barefoot in the summer, but I feel the cold, so I have on big pink fuzzy slippers.
Not only slippers, do I wear, but wool socks.
I suffer badly with cold hands and feet, so could not go without winter slippers -currently it is 3°C here, so even my dogs need slippers today!
LOL! Do they have slippers?
no they don't but this morning my old boy came to my side of the bed (dog, that is!) and started crying -I think he was just cold. Eventually i got up and turned on the hot gas heater and he was happy....
Yes, as soon as I get home, I can't wait to take off my shoes and put on my hand felted slippers!
Oh my gosh! I found some on Etsy. They are so cute! But also quite expensive, I don't know if I can justify the price. Are they durable?
I wear short UGGS, cause I live near the beach in Melbourne.
Wear them all year round, I love them, they're my favourite shoes :)
Love the ugg boots. My toes are always frozen if I dont wear them.
yes, every winter i treat myself to new fluffy warm slippers. love winter :)
Yes. I wear them all the time as I can't stand going barefoot.Upon getting up I hit the shower & I dress up with shoes & all. I feel very comfortable that way. We wear our street shoes at home & I hate seeing the mass of shoes outside the front door like many ethnic communities do.
Once I'm ready for bed then I change & wear my ' slippers' & I'm okay. But I must have them cos' I just can't stand walking barefooted.

i also do not like the untidy mess of shoes at the front door, cannot help thinking of what might have crawled into them ie spiders, also wonder cannot they place the shoes just inside the front door.
Yes, have ugg-type boots. Nice & warm! No carpet where I live, floor SO cold!
Even in Summer, can't go barefooted!
My cat 'complains' to me of cold paw-pads, so he likes to be somewhere warm, & at night, is UNDER doona at foot of bed!
yes I do , to keep my feet warm, usually with soxs as well
yes always, wear soxs with them keeps slippers and feet from getting smelly also extra warmth on a very cold day.
Yes, but by far are the knitted ones that my wife has made me.
I wear socks with the woollen slippers and they are so cosy and warm especially as we have a lot of tiled areas within our house (excluding bedrooms).
There is no sweating with the woollen slippers as they (breathe).
If you haven't tried them get your wife or a friend to knit you some, you will not regret it.
The only drawback is they wear more quickly than normal slippers, more so if you walk outside on your driveway to get the mail or newspaper.

Farley, I'm going to ask my husband to knit me some now.
