I used to wear one when I wore very tight pants.

Nowadays if I wear tight pants, they are thicker than the skimpy ones I used to wear, so do not need this type.

However, I used to hate them as they ride up and are rather annoying.

No, never did and too old now to put up with discomfort. I didn't when I was very young because when you glimpse the top of them, they look like the old sanitary napkin belts from my youth.
Oh! Fran, spot on! How I hated those 'belts'! Amazing the 'products' now available; would've been more comfy to have those choices, back n the day!

No, never!!!! I find them so uncomfortable and to be honest, cannot see the point of this sort of item. You would be better off wearing nothing at all, rather than wearing something so small and uncomfortable!!
Yes, under my 'skinny' clothes. I hate seeing people's bum's being eaten or mangled by inappropriate underwear in tight-fitting clothes.

I like the way you put that Vee -LOL

LOL, thanks, Finy. :)

When I was younger I still would not have worn something like a thong or G-String.
Some girls did, but the other say 70% didn't even bother.
Tooooo uncomfortable.
Classy girls. :(

Uncomfortable. These must have been designed by men who only want to look at them and not actually wear them.
No, I dont really see the point. Might as well go au natural

I used to but have not wore them for a long time. I don't like them - too uncomfortable

Wore one a couple of times when younger and that was enough for me...uncomfortable....definitely must have been designed by men to 'tittilate'....or should I say 'bumilate'...ha ha

LOL clever wording!

I used to wear a G-string under my jeans when I went clubbing (ie: when I was hoping to "pick up") - definitely not these days!! I dress for comfort!!
No I don't. Tried a g-string once but found it really uncomfortable. My daughter wears them and I have trouble finding a spot to put the leg when I hang out the washing - almost need a paper clip rather than a peg!
No, never. I should imagine they'd be terribly uncomfortable, particularly the 'rear string'!
As I've got older, have always/am always going for the greatest amount of C O M F O R T!
Find them too uncomfortable - prefer bikini briefs.
Yes, they are the only undies I wear. But certainly not like in the photo above! I find them VERY comfortable; don't even know I've got them on. Now before you start - remember when you first put a bra on? Remember how uncomfortable it was? Remember picking at it and wriggling around trying to find a nice spot for it? It's the same for a G. You need to wear them for a few days at least before they 'settle in', so to speak. Try it. There are some really nice cotton ones out there.
Oh! poppy, way too reminiscent of 'Modess' sanitary belts for my liking!

forgot to mention - I now find 'normal' undies really uncomfortable. If they ride up to the same place where the G sits (& they always do!), you then have a heap of material squashed in, which doesn't feel nice. And picking it out is not a good look!
Oh! poppy, I've been wearing Bond's ladies full cotton briefs, in the perfect size for me,
all my long life, & never had THAT problem! Cheers!

Now I have never worn them, as I always thought they'd be too uncomfortable! My sis-in-law, (who's 2 years younger than old me,) things they're fabulous!!! Luckily, I've never seen her ones! Are they made from cotton? I thought they were only made from nylon. (No, I still won't buy a pr if they are made from cotton!)

My friend's daughter always wears them . . . she told me she used to dread washing day. Luckily, daughter is married and doing her own washing now.
