I don’t wear an apron in the kitchen, but I should given that I’m a messy cook. Do you wear an apron in the kitchen? Why or why not?

I usually forget until the flour starts flying about when I'm mixing. I then put my apron on and end up with a messy t-shirt and a messy apron.
Nope, I don't. I'm a pretty clean cook so I find it necessary.
No, I don't. Not sure why because I have some very funny and cute aprons that have been given to me over the years. I just never think to wear one!
I always forget, but they are a darn good idea.

I used to always wear an apron in the kitchen.

However now I rarely if ever, wear one -strange -I don't know why that is -I am a very messy cook but somehow the mess goes on the floor mostly.

I need an apron when I sit down and eat in front of TV, and not when I am cooking!
Or is that called a bib??
by Finy
A bib, I believe it is. :P

Ah, yes . . the reason I don't wear white. *splot dribble plop* I have no idea why it happens as I don't even pick up a lot on my fork or spoon. Just talent, I guess :(

No but trust me I should!
I haven't worn an apron in the Kitchen since doing 'Home Science' at School, many decades' ago!

Around the house, only wear my 'daggy' clothes, so no matter if they get dirty! Would be going into wash anyway, after one day's wear!
Yes I do wear to keep my clothes clean.
I don't
I should
I may
I own a dusty one at the bottom of my drawers.
I always wish I wore it!!!!

So wear it woman! :P

I don't wear an apron in the kitchen, I don't even know where to find one.
No. I'm a clean cook.
Yes kirk3, but accidents do happen. :P
by Vee
Yes Vee, but so far so good. No accidents so far.

Yes - it makes me feel more like a great cook instead of someone who just heats things up.
LOL! Fair enough! :)

Yes. I love cooking and I love my collection of aprons. I select my 'pinny' before I cook. I am then in serious cooking mode and loving it. Perhaps it's warm memories of my mother and grandmothers in the kitchen.
:)

Yesss it protects my clothes
No, but I really should, as sometime I make quite a mess.
I have three aprons. *looks away*
