Here in Britain, we are in the run up to a General Election in May. Campaigning has begun and the Prime Minister has refused to participate in the general election TV leaders' debates unless the parties included are changed. The other politicians have criticised him for this and it made me wonder - do you watch political debates in the run up to an election? If you do, does it make any difference to the way you vote?
I do watch them.
It can make a difference, I like to hear and see what they have on offer.
They tell lies too, we all know that.....but! I like to see how they come across.
You can tell a great deal, in these debates.
I have never bothered watching these debates. The politicians just trot out the same old lines and never say anything new.... I would rather read or listen to interviews with them with a really good interviewer who might provoke an interesting response.
