I often watch the news twice on television.
I will occasionally read it on my phone if a headline pops up that I am interested in.

The only reason I watch it twice, both times at night, is that there is nothing else on to watch. After dinner I always watch TV and the last year or so, there have been few programmes worth watching, so news it is!

Veg #2 here . . if there is nothing on tv, I usually sit in bed and read.

No. I think that would be a waste of my valuable time. I watch the news once, and once only. If there is nothing on after that, the tv is switched OFF. There are plenty of other things I can do to entertain myself in the evenings.
Passively, for example, if the news is on the radio while I am driving. Otherwise I prefer to stay current with the news online
Yes we sometimes do, or if I'm in the kitchen when the 2nd lot of news starts at 6pm, I can hear it from there, but not see it, so that suits me.

The so called 'news' is watered down. For that reason, I spend a fair amount of time on line to see what Really is happening in the world, every single day.
I need to know when things are going to get cRaZy.
most days, yes
No. Sometimes not even once a day. I find world events overwhelmingly sad at times. I do what I can to help by signing petitions or helping with campaigns for change but seeing the news can trigger depression in me and render me incapable of being much use to anyone.
I tend to listen to the news on the radio. There is a news bulletin every hour. I probably hear it 2 - 3 times a day.

If I hear it more than once, I feel like shooting the tv. Sometimes if the tv is on I hear it in the morning and at night . . .but it's usually the same news. I hate the sad things so I generally try not to watch the news. If I hear no bad news I can delude myself that we aren't going to hell in a hand basket.

yes i agree -always sadness and hurt....but I do not feel like doing naything else at night other than sit and veg!

I like to keep up with what's happening in the world. Most news bulletins during the day have information as it's happened so I don't mind how often I see or hear it. I also like to check what's happened in my Yahoo news as it has items not even mentioned in the daily news reports.
I watch the 6pm news on TV and also browse new articles that pop up on my Facebook newsfeed.
Only Ch9 News Mon-Fri ......also view ITablet News in general.
No. I watch them just a few times a week.
