I have so much of it that if I don't do some every day it quickly becomes overwhelming. I have two small children, so what with nappies and bed wetting and clothes that have been worn while playing in dirt there is a lot of washing to do.
I used to be able to get away with just doing laundry on the weekend. Then along came kid number 3. With 5 people in the house, the amount of laundry exploded and now I have to do it every other day at least, or I would spend my weekends hanging and folding washing.
Absolutely, if I don't I get a backlog and then end up with too much washing and not enough clothes line or pegs! I've just written an article on the most efficient way to do the washing - keep an eye out for it on http://homegenius.com.au/
I normally do mine on Wednesdays - Thursdays are when I go to my partner's for the weekend, so a week's worth of laundry is done the day before, unless I urgently need a specific piece of clothing (which I then hand wash).
5 out of 7 days, I have my washing done. With 3 kids, the washing basket gets loaded quickly but I really don't mind the washing. With so much of sun here in Mauritius, the clothes tend to dry quickly and by night time, all is washed and neatly folded away.
