shopping, sales, save money

Do you save your money throughout the year and then do a big shop for clothes when they are on sale, or do you tend to buy clothes throughout the year?

The sales are great but are also easy to get caught up in the excitement of a "deal". It's only a bargain of you need it and will actually wear it! I find the sales are a good time to stock up on the basics or classic pieces that are wardrobe staples. And manchester- I love a good sale on sheets and towels!
I definitely wait for the sales to stock up on kids clothes, as there are so many savings to be had. For myself, I find that the things I want to buy for myself aren't normally on sale, so whilst I might pick up a few things that I like, I definitely wouldn't be waiting all year for the clothing sales. Whilst not a full follower of fashion, the clothes I like tend to be the ones that are in season and thus not likely on sale when I want them. For this reason, I like the 10% off the whole store type sales.
I buy a few of my clothes online from the UK and look out for free delivery deals etc.
I stock up on old summer season clothes to wear in the next summer.

Plus if I am travelling it is the best time to buy what you need while it is still available aka purchasing summer clothes now in January for a trip to Europe in July, their summer.
If there is a sale on, then I will browse to see if there is anything I like, but I don't specifically wait for sales to buy anything. I don't buy that many clothes anyway to be honest. When I do, I always have a budget on them in my head anyway. No more than £25 for a shirt and no more than £30 for trousers.
I buy when I can, but if I need a special kind of Jacket, then I wait for the sales.
I like to have the choice to choose what's for sale during the year.
Keeping it fairly simple, is good for me.
Mainly yes, although if I need something sooner I'll still go ahead and buy it.
Usually I only buy things as I need them. If I'm after a particular item, I will look to see if it is on sale, but if it isn't I will buy it anyway.
