Do you use speakers with your computer or when you play games?

I actually like the sounds when playing games, and I always have my speakers on when on the computer.

I have a "you've got mail" message each time I get mail, so I know when mail comes in.

I live on my own so these noises do not annoy anyone.

For me, it depends on the game. If I'm playing casual games like Bejeweled, or other Facebook games, then no. I actually keep the sound off on purpose as some run ads in between moves. If I am playing a more involved game, like World of Warcraft, then absolutely. Hearing what's going on in the game is critical.

I use headphones for any sound, so my son is not distracted in his space.
I'm such a good mum lol...lol.
I'm not over keen on too much noise if I play a game, so I may turn it down too.

well truth be told, it also stops him getting upset, and Finy I like my peace...lol.

I am not a games kinda person, just don't have time but maybe this is because I am just not interested for some reason.....if I was I guess I would MAKE time and would like to hear the noises!

No! I do not play games at all on the computer!!! I am happy with my little laptop and its own built in volume control when needed!!!

I certainly use speakers on my computer on a regular basis and not only when I play games.

No, I only use a laptop, so I don't need speakers. I think my husband had them though, when he used his computer, that hasn't worked for a couple of years now. (I'll be giving him my laptop, when I buy my 1" smaller/lighter weight pink Apple 1. It will be a lot easier to cart down to Melbourne, when we visit.)

Correction: 11" NOT a 1" of cause!! We're buying it next week, to take on our cruise, as were are now entitled to 250 minutes of free wifi on Princess. We've never bothered taking a laptop on a cruise before, because we'd just find an internet place when we went ashore. Hopefully we'll be able to use the laptop on our balcony, but as usual, I'm WAY of the subject of the question. Sorry!
