Yes, I seem to use it regularly in cooking and since I no longer eat cake/biscuits i seem to use cream more often.
Gosh, Finy, that photo looks SOOOO delish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just ate a slice of cucumber. Haha.
oh dear rice - sorry to have tempted you but it does not taste good at all and better you do not look at the picture!!!! back to the cucumber sandwiches without the bread!
Cream is a nice clean pure fat . . but true, if I ate too much it would become a sugar but it is better than a packet of biscuits. It's amazing how full you can feel on a spoonful of butter, macadamia oil or cream. My S-I-L has a shot glass of Mac oil or some butter as his only meal per day. I am not that disciplined.
as her only meal?? tsp oil -guess you mean WITH?? hope so
Nope. He has only a full shot glass of oil. I drink it too - it is quite pleasant.
I use cream a lot. I often use it on the side of casseroles and curries to entice my children to eat (they love it mixed with rice!). It's also the star of my potato veg bake that I do at least once a week. I actually wish I had started using cream in cooking sooner!
yum lizzi - cream is nice mixed with rice and a bit of cinnamon!
I've never thought to add cinnamon. That sounds really yummy!!
Hardly ever, except for sour cream on my pancakes, about once a month, or yoghurt in my curries & on my breakfast cereal, but you weren't asking about yogurt! The cream in the above photo likes yummy, but I would much rather have a dark chocolate thing on top of MY dessert!
