I do not use chemicals - rather only natural products for washing up - apart from in the dishwasher which has powder with chemicals.

All other cleaners are organic though I use Enjo and do not need chemicals apart from in the bathroom where I use one that is clean and has no nasties in it - it does not work quite as well as the chemical one - i also use it for stains in washing, however this one also does not work as well as the ones with chemicals.

I use my white 'magic sponge'....and it does an amazzzzing job!
They'd be great for criminals . . . I have no fingerprints left when I use them. Hahahahahahahahaha.

You got me onto using the magic sponge for cleaning stubborn stains on dishes, jonaja. And I have to say, they are brilliant for that! Thanks so much. Also, Aldi just had them on sale for 99c for a decent size pack, so I stocked up!

Not really, I tend to rely on good old vinegar for most applications. I have eucalyptus oil for stubborn marks and stains. I do have a dishwasher now but I usually am not in the room when it is in operation. I try to be environmentally friendly . . . .but I wonder how many companies get away with just calling them that . . . . .
by Rice
Yes. I'm sorry to say it, but I use all manner of chemical cleaners. I just don't think that any other cleaners would do as good a job. I used to use vinegar, but I found this too harsh. It even gave my hands dermatitis, due to the acids in it. Not all natural products are necessarily good, at least they aren't for me and my skin !!
For me it is not so much the skin as the airways . . . but Murraya and Night Jessamine "set me off" as well. I have some stupid thing called hyperreactive allergic airways. Damned nuisance. Plus you never ever know what might trigger it.
by Rice
My airways react to things like pollen and cigarette smoke. My skin is usually very good, but it does react to vinegar. Its the only thing that my skin reacts to.

Gosh Lluxi, that is unfortunate . . . . . are you able to use a little bit on ant bites or similar?
by Rice
I try to avoid them. I use some environmentally-friendly cleaning range (forgotten what it's called) and vinegar in the kitchen.

I try to avoid chemicals but I do use some
