do you use airline lounges when travelling, do you use an airline lounge when travelling
The main bar at The Qantas Club domestic lounge at Melbourne Airport

When you travel, do you use--or have you ever used--an airline lounge? You can live it up eating food, or even having a shower, while others have to stick around the departure gate.

When I travel overseas I do. I used the Virgin one in LA, and it was such a wonderful break in the trip. I had a shower, got great food, used the internet and had a nap before going on for the second leg of my journey. It was a wonderful experience and made the trip much more bearable.
No, but I would love to. It is one of my wishes.
I have done and its a fab experience, and has made for an enjoyable travel experience. Now that I've got kids our airport time is spent watching planes and expending energy so my airport lounge days are on hiatus.
No but that is on my to do list.
Only for international travel when I'm flying business class. It's usually just for a drink & something to eat. It's a nice way to start the trip.
Only once, it was very nice I have to say....
Fairly often. I had a voucher left to enjoy The Qantas Club at Melbourne to head back home to Sydney despite flying economy class. When you fly business class, lounge access is yours too. It depends on how much time you have left to enjoy it.
We have membership of the Virgin lounge and always use it when we travel both while in Australia and when we travel overseas. It makes travelling more bearable.
Not as yet but I would really love.

Ah yes! That little piece of quiet & restfulness. Fresh snacks, cold drinks, hot coffee or tea. Away from screaming, uncontrolled kids'.
And clean facilities' for the use of, including SHOWERS!
Qantas Club for me. Been going in there since its' inception.

Used to go to Ansett's 'Golden Wing Lounge'. Sadly both are no more.
