They're fabulous if you want to display your dust bunnies to everyone who visits. Failing that I think they're hideous and should go back to the 1960s where they belong.
It's worth noting that in ancient china they had silk flowers that were beautiful, and they also had them in Egypt but I can't remember what they were made of. Those ones were probably quite nice …. nothing nice is ever made of nylon
I have silk ones, just a tiny amount.
They look real, and I can afford fresh all the time.
Just gives the room a little bit of a lift :)
They were quite expensive, and you can't tell the difference really.
They vary in quality a bit, and there are some you wouldn't know were plastic unless you touched them, so I don't think those are tacky. I wouldn't have them in my house though. I don't like the idea of flowers you need to dust.
I've never had plastic flowers - If I were going to add more crap into my house it would likely be candles or something...If I want something that looks like flowers I'd just get some real flowers...
