Do you take a lot of notice of things it is said are healthy or unhealthy?

Do you read a lot about what is healthy and what is unhealthy?

As this seems to change so often, do you take notice of these reports and opinions, and change what you eat?

Yes, unfortunately I take all these things to heart.
If i read, dont eat eggs -cholestorol, I eat less eggs.

Then the next week they say eggs are Ok so I eat eggs again.

Then it was soy products, then it was freezing water in plastic, then it was butter, etc et cetc.
It goes on and on -a friend in the medical profession once told me coffee leaches calcium from the bones -I cut down to one cup till another friend, an oncologist, checked it out and said -Not if you put milk in it!

I am always cutting things out of my diet and am at the stage where I don't think I will listen or read anything anymore.

LOL -probably wont work.

I read Australian healthy food guide each month - and yes the advice does tend to change. I think that the "overall" message has stayed the same for a while now - plenty of fresh fruit and veg, fresh meat, Low GI carbs and a small amount of healthy fats. I try to stick to that - and not get too much into all the changing things like "superfoods" etc. I think that you can't go wrong with beautiful fresh whole foods!
I take no note of what the 'experts' say.

Well what I do know is now I don't need to eat much and I do tryyyy and eat healthily ie 2 pieces of fruit a day, lots of vegies every day, meat only about twice a week otherwise chicken and fish....grainy bread one piece a day...not a sweet tooth which is lucky though will have a piece of cake occasionally to celebrate someone's birthday, quite like muffins but not ofen and healthy ones...sure I could do even better but still...

When things are conflicted I just tend to stick with what was originally said, until the new claim can be cemented. It does make me more aware of what I eat, but doesn't necessarily make me change.

I have cut out food with ''numbers'' as much as I can, and I am already feeling good.
So nothing really processed, just Veg, Rice, and a little tiny tiny meat.
LOL, I don't count 'number' ingredients as food so I try to avoid eating those things that contain them.

We eat a mostly whole food diet, including good fats (from fish, coconut oil, home laid eggs, butter etc) and without nasty fats (canola, sunflower, magazine etc). It's the bad fats I pay particular attention to avoiding, as well as table salt, we only use good quality sea salt too. A lot of what we were TOLD is healthy turns out to be deadly, and vice versa, so you have to be well informed!
I am big on Common Sense!! My body tells me very quickly if a food is a problem for me!! Having been ill all my life,I am very aware of good and bad,but not obsessively so,or I would eat nothing at all!!! The media has way too much to answer for,in my opinion,and money/profits for big companies? The same!!!
I do and I don't - if that makes sense. I will take note if I believe it - not sure what has to be said for me to believe it but sometimes I will take on board what I read and other times it just doesn't make sense to me so I won't take it on board

Not really. I tend to add the so-called super foods to dishes in the hopes of gaining some benefit. I usually let my hunger lead the way.
Happy to read information, then make my own decision. There're many factors to take into consideration for MY decision.
