Do you still wear jeans in summer?

I find jeans incredibly hot in the summer, so I do not wear them.

Most of my jeans are tight, and the material is quite heavy, so I wear them in winter (when they are actually rather cold!)

I now wear long shorts or 3/4 pants when it is hot, or even wear a loose skirt sometimes.

I never wear Jeans at all.I find them constricting and just uncomfortable no matter what the weather is! I usually wear 'capri' length light cotton pants or shorts.in all seasons as I live in North Qld!!

No. It's much too hot here for that. I don't use airconditioning at home if I don't need to and I have to walk around outdoors during the day, and in 40 degrees celsius in jeans I think I would die.

Why?

1. About everyone wear's them.
2.They are hot in Summer, and cool in winter.
3.They are totally overrated.
4.No individuality seems to come from wearing them.
5.They have been around way way way toooo long.
6.They take forever to dry.
7.They weigh a ton when wet.
8.They don't look as good on everyone, as people would think.
9.They are boring to look at when you have been looking at them for 50 yrs.
10. I won't go on.....it's a waste of time.

Yes I do. It has to be super hot for me to wear shorts or skirts. Somehow I just feel more secure in jeans. If I was walking in bushland I would most certainly wear them (and boots) no matter what the season was.

Ummmm no. But then I don't wear jeans in the winter or any other time of year! I don't like jeans and find them very uncomfortable. I have only ever bought one pair, as a teenager, and that was under duress!

If it is sweltering hot, then no. Otherwise, I wear my jeans and fold them up to make them shorter.

I'm definitely a jeans wearer come sun, rain or snow. I have 10 pairs and counting and constantly throwing out old ones and replacing those with new ones, all are skinny jeans and of various colours. I have stock standard blue denim in dark, mid and light blue hues; black, grey, khaki (dark and light hues) even a pair of charcoal coloured jeans. The heat doesn't affect me (fortunately) but in summer I will occasionally wear shorts or dresses, otherwise I'll stick with jeans.

It will depend entirely on the weather & the occasion. But usually, no, way too hot!
Hate feeling the sweat run down my legs from my knees!

In Winter, they're 'de rigeur', especially going out with friends' to dinner, at night. Love it, great chance to wear a beautiful cosy scarf & my RM's!

I'd love to wear them, BUT most jeans are badly made now. Manufacturers have forgotten that women have shape (hips AND thighs)!

I am so very reassured by just how many others feel the same as I do about denim Jeans. Thank heavens for the more comfortable Capri and 3/4 length pants styles which do not even require me to iron them after washing them!!!

I wear jeans all year round regardless of the weather, jeans are just a safe option when picking clothes so I tend to stick with them I guess.

Very occasionally, but prefer capris or short skirts for summer. I do wear jeans a lot though during the rest of the year as you can dress them up or down according to the occasion.

No, never. I wear my cotton dresses every day, when I leave the house, all year round, in Sydney, Au. In winter I wear them with a merino wool long sleeve 'spencer', matching cotton cardigan, & a jacket, in Sydney, or a mostly woollen coat in Melbourne, when visiting our daughter's. We stay with the youngest daughter, & she hates me wearing my dresses in winter! Only on our cruises, do I wear slacks & matching tops, as the dresses are heavier, & take up more suitcase room.
