Do you still listen to the pop music of your youth or do you listen to contemporary music?

It used to be accepted, here in Britain anyway, that as you grew older, you would change from listening to contemporary music on Radio 1 to listening to the Golden Oldies on Radio 2 and maybe even drop the pop music altogether and just listen to speech radio. Is this the case for you - do you prefer the hits of your youth or do you enjoy listening to contemporary music?

My husband and I both like listening to contemporary music but have found several of our friends now listening only to the pop music from the 80s and 90s, on Oldie radio stations. I'm not sure if we are just in denial about being old or if it is more normal now to carry on listening to "youth" music as you get older!
I like a good mix of music, from super old to super new. I just like music!
I like listening to both, and don't particularly have a preference. Music from the 40s-80s tends to make me feel happier though.
I used to listen to both contemporary music and pop music from my youth with a preference for older music. Then I found I was sick of listening to the 'old' stuff and now listen to contemporary music and some music going back as far as the 80s. For me the 80s is not the time of my youth. I found listening predominantly to music from when I was a child or a teenager meant I was in a bit of a rut.
I like a good range. I'll admit that I listen to a mostly "oldies" station in the car! Although my partner refers to it as "chick's music".
I like to listen to a range of music. Admittedly, I listen to more old and alternative tunes.
Yes I do, when I can. From the late 50s and 60s thru to 70s
