Yes, I probably do most evenings as I turn it on around 5.30 pm.

I go to bed fairly early, and turn on the television in my bedroom, set it to timer, and fall asleep in a few minutes -can be very annoying when I want to watch something!

I would have the TV on probably 4 hours in all even if I am not watching all that time.

No. Maybe 1 hour tops.
I probably actually WATCH 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours a day, though it may be turned on for longer!
I'm with you :-)

No....I only watch a little t.v....but not every day!

I spend a lot of time on computer, for learning.
Just did a lot of work in the Art Nouveau Time.
It's more like background noise. I don't have the time to sit and watch.

We have the TV on during the evening and it would be on more than 2 hours but it's mostly just background noise

No, don't 'watch' TV at all!

Any TV programme I want to watch, gets VHS taped.
So it's 'time shift' usage, & ability to 'fast forward' the grossly 10-12 adverts. shown at the one time!
.Yes, I do. Its my time to relax. I put it on for the evening news and A Current Affair, then see what's on after that. I usually come across amovie somewhere. If there's nothing on, I'll put on a DVD.
I doubt it. I sometimes put it on ABC 24 for the news if there is something big happening, e.g the Paris terrorist attacks recently, that way I can stand still if something new happens. As for constant watching, possibly 50 to 90 minutes unless a good movie has caught my eye.

I do if there is some really good UK drama series on tv. I don't tend to watch any of the commercial channels as they are so full of rubbish it's unbelievable. I only watch channels on Foxtel, mainly world news, drama, documentaries etc.
I probably watch about 2 hours tv a day, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, depending on what interesting programmes are on.
I read a lot and work on the computer so that takes up a bit of time too.
yes in the evening do not watch during the day,

Many weeks I don't watch two hours of television programs in the whole week. I don't watch much TV but I spend lots of time on my computer. I only have the TV on if I am watching it.
Not usually. On a typical day, I watch my shows that go for less than an hour because we F/F the adds. On the weekends, we tend to watch less or more depending on whether we choose to watch a film.

Because I am no longer 'employable', I can watch anywhere from 18 to 28 hours of TV in one stretch. It is much cheaper than going outside, using petrol, shopping etc. So I watch an extremely large amoiunt of TV!
Now that DVD rental shops have all but disappeared, instead of renting, I buy DVD's on-line and now have over 450 of the wretched things. I do borrow from the Library when possible, but their range is limited. I like the 'good old movies' with comedy, dance and fun - a chance to escape back into a much nicer world than we have now. I particularly enjoy British films.
Yes, in the evening I do, for about 4 hrs.
