I virtually do not drink any more -very rarely, so the answer to this is now NO.
I used to attempt to drink even though I did not like it however it just puts me to sleep almost instantly, so I gave up trying. The only reason I tried is because I thought my body would get used to it and I would not fall asleep, and then I might even enjoy it, but not the case.
I do not drink alcohol at all,due to necessary medication which I take. But I used to sometimes enjoy a glass of wine with my evening meal. My dad,Bless his Heart, has ALWAYS had a glass of wine with his main meal.and this started when he hit adulthood apparently. His doctor has told him it has most likely been very beneficial to his health over the years, and I do believe this to be true as he is now a bright and witty 84 year old who is as 'together' as any 50 year old!! Love you, Dad!!!
I quite often have a glass or two with a meal, or before, or after. Summer time I prefer thecwhite wines and reds for Winter but really just what I fancy at the time and my doctor, being a wine lover himself, enjoys it too. We often discuss our wine preferences and recommendations. I also look forward to my annual trip to the Hunter Valley each year and have 2 wine clubs deliver each quarter. I share with 2 of my daughters and buy quite a bit on line as well.
I'll have a small glass of G&T before and/or my meal.(The same drink, not a 2nd one!) My husband always has a red. He loves buying these from Aldi's! If I'm in a restaurant for a family birthday, I like a sparkling wine or Champagne.
