Do you search for old recipes on RecipeYum?

I usually look for new recipes to try and also love the recipes on recipe yum. I only wish I had found it before. Its an excellent site and I also like what others thought.

I have before, and I do like to have a look.
For me a recipe is not something I would use but once in a blue moon.After cooking for over 50 yrs....it's all just about in my head, and I make them up as I go along....Plus I have to admit I get lazy to follow a recipe a lot of the time. :( I'm not a good girl.

I love a bit of a trawl through the old recipes, it jogs the memory and sometimes makes you think, "Ooooh, I'll do that for dinner!" when maybe you were a bit strapped for inspiration.

Most of the time I just look at the new recipe that are published, I do sometimes use the search button to look for recipes with a particular ingredient if I need to use something up or am looking for inspiration. I also like looking to see if people have published recipes similar to the one I am going to write up.

How did you guess that I might do that?! I do it all the time! I look at recipes, on line, 5/6 days a week, either on line or in my recipe books, as I only make the same recipe once a year., & I date them all. (As you might have guessed, I don't go to work!)

I rarely make the same recpie twice either. I keep liking to do different things.

Wow! I often cook the same stuff over and over. I have more of a rotating roster than anything else. I have many favourites and cannot even think from departing from them for too long, lol!

My mum is the one who cooks the same set of meals over and over, so it's her we go to if we want an old favourite, but I always like trying something new.

I don't use recipes from recipe yum. I have plenty of good recipe books and I love going through them. I like to try different things. I rarely go online looking for recipes, but if I do, I like taste.com.

Yes, I do. Not a lot of the time because I prefer to look at magazines because they are hardcopies. I don't like reading off a screen...

I have 'My Likes' on RecipeYum, so I just search through those when I need a recipe for chicken, beef, pork or vegetarian salad, soups or whatever.
