Do you research the history of a country before travelling there?

I can't say I have had the opportunity to do this, but I sure would - even if it's a quick overview.

Sorry about duplicate response. :S

This for me is a must.
It would be to me a tad silly not too.
We have the world at out finger tips, so it takes only
a few minutes to get some idea, better safe than sorry.

I do, but I also enjoy tours which teach you history as you are going along

Yes, have always done my 'homework' in regards a country to which I'm travelling.
Makes the time spent there more enjoyable...............
