Do you regularly set a formal table for dinner?

Sadly never now.
We live in a tiny home, and it's just not something we can do.

We very rarely eat at the table. The only time we do is when we invite people over, and they are not formal dinners. The only time when we make the table look especially nice is at Christmas.

Heck no! I have two kids under five, only one of whom can use cutlery at all. Tablecloths get pulled off on to the floor and what would be the point of glasses that would get smashed and fancy napkins that would get covered in food and flung on the floor as well?

Maybe we'll have fancy dinner parties one day.

I know the feeling. We have three kids under 6 and most of our meals are had at the breakfast bar so they can be cleaned up straight away!

No, only do this for birthdays etc. Other occasions such as a uni graduation would also be cause for such celebrations. Otherwise I never eat at the dinner table.

I wish. No, I'm usually in a rush to feed the kids as they go from playing busily one minute to starving hungry with no in-between. As long as I've given them something healthy I think I'm winning!

No. I don't see why I should, unless I'm preparing for a party and inviting guests over.

Yes I cook a meal every night and set the table, as it's what I grew up with and seems normal and a great time to chat with my busy kids
