I very rarely change my passwords as I would get too confused. I have two main ones so I know often if one does not work, then the other one COULD.

However sometimes they are not "secure" enough so I have to add a number after one of them and that is when I get confused!

However, after getting a new system the other day, my technician got into my computer without asking me the password to open it, so if someone really wants to get into your computer, they will anyway!

I have a few that I sort of round robin with . . . but I have to write obscure clues in my diary to be sure I get them right!! Haha. I am pretty sure mine are strong ones, but as you say Finy, a tech gets in with no problem. However that doesn't mean they can access banking details etc. . . . it just means they have a good chance. Oh dear.

LOL Rice! I could not believe how quickly he got in - i went out for less than a minute and came back to give him the password and he was already transferring data! AND he is not a hacker -just a technician

No wonder the governments are trying to employ all the hackers!! Haha . . . the only way they can stay safe . . . employ the enemy.

I rarely change the passwords or my computer or phone.I have five passwords which I use for different accounts so I don't really create passwords on a regular basis at all.
Having to have bee passwords for every site, to sine-into, is a right PiA, big time!

It's a 'damned if you do, & damned if you don't' scenario......

If u have the same p/w to all, it's a security risk.
If u write down the multiple p/w's, to help remember them, it's a security risk.

Trying to remember 10-20 p/w's is beyond a joke. Hate it with a passion!
But that's life, unfortunately, in this hi-tech world in which we now find ourselves' living!
No,I rarely change my passwords. I guess if someone really wanted to get into my computer system,as Finy says, they will be able to!!! It is all a bit of a joke really, when you think about how we are told how important it is to have secure passwords. So far, I have been very fortunate with my passwords, thank heavens!
Ummmm No !!!! As others have said, if they want to get in, they will. I do, however, change my banking password regularly. I am not as concerned about my phone and computer.
I have a few similar ones that I use. However with government departments there are several symbols you can't use which is annoying because I feel more secure using them but I also have good anti virus software which is important.
For some things, I must.

only when i am forced to
From time to time.
Every time I get a virus I have to start all over again. I had to buy a book to remember all the different passwords.
No, I never change mine. I can barely remember the ones I have at the moment. I can't even remember my mobileNo & more our landline No, as we've only had it for about 5 years, changed for us by our isp (?) provider unfortunately.
