Do you read any magazines regularly?

I do not subscribe to any magazines though read them quite regularly at the Op Shop where I volunteer.

I also read them at the Dr and hair dresser however in all these cases, they are not up to date magazines, but older ones.

So NO I do not regularly read magazines, I guess!

No. I asked one of my students this and was in awe of his answer, they are "rubbish." I totally agreed. We spoke further and decided that not all magazines are rubbish, but that the general gossip ones certainly are.

I use to buy one on divine Shabby Chic homes.

Then I became very frustrated, that I could not do any more to my own home....and so stopped buying them :(

I need a new home I think!
Start all over again, and start buying the mag's again.
They also have become a tad expensive, but for those who love em' I say go for it! :)

Really! She loves this sort of stuff, though our (her) house very much reflects a sea side theme. Her bedroom is French Provincial looking. White furniture, paintings on the wall. I think you would like it. Perhaps I'll share pictures.

I used to read Star Trek, Stargate, and Charmed magazine, but not anymore. I still read the Radio Times though.

I enjoy travel and craft magazines, but can't say that I read any of them regularly.

Back in the day, used to buy several, but then money had to be 'prioritised', read: children, & I stopped buying, & reading!
Haven't missed them at all!

Do buy the one-off if there's a particular article I want to read, though, but that doesn't happen very often nowadays.................

You could always borrow them from a library, Donjo, then you can still read them, & you don't have to pay for them. Cheep cheep!

No,I think magazines are just far too expensive to buy,so the only time I read them is when I am waiting for medical appointments!! My Dr's
surgery has very up-to-date issues of many of the 'gossip' type magazines,and so I figure I may as well indulge while I am sitting there waiting to be seen!! Many years back I would sometimes buy ABC's Garden magazine and the very good American Beading magazines when I knew they had articles I wanted to read and learn from;but I even stopped buying those as after a while they simply were reprinting old articles under new headings!!! I just decided to buy the ones I did not have,and wished to read, at the Op Shops! But that was a long while ago.....
I cannot recall the last time I did this!

No. Magazines don't interest me. I would rather read a book !!! Maybe once a year I will buy a ' Better Homes and Gardens ' magazine, if there is a recipe or gardening article that interests me. When I used to belong to Weight Watchers, I would buy their magazine. When I left there I stopped buying it. It did have some recipes in it that were good. So, no I don't buy magazines regularly.

I have tried but can't remember the last time I bought any magazine . . . must be 10 to 15 years ago. (Never was a big buyer) Everything is on the internet these days, you can get your celebrity gossip hot off the press, news on tap, recipes, funny anecdotes, heartwarming dog stories . . . . ah, *bliss*

I read 'Yours' magazine regularly because a friend hands it on after she and her mother in law have read it. I don't read it cover to cover but pick out the articles of interest. I particularly enjoy Wendy Harmer's column as it makes me laugh.

No I don't read magazines regularly.. I only read magazines if a friend occionly hands hers on to me, or the ones at the hairdressers 4 times a yea while I'm waiting for my hair trim.

I forgot that I always read the ones at the dentist, once a year!. (I know I should go twice a year!) And we also take the Qantas magazines from the plane to read later, as we fly to & from Melbourne, 4/5 times a year. It would be easier if we flew down at the end of the month, & returned at the start of the following month, then we could pick up 2 in 1 trip! (We're always down there for 7 days,) but it never works out that way!

Yes I do read mags regularly,at present my favourite ones are Take 5 and That,s Life, Ilike the Womans Weekly but I find too many advertisments in it.

I know what you mean, Diana, When I bought the WW's, )way back in the mid '60's,) I'd rip all the ads out, if they were on both sides of the page, before I started reading it. It also made the WW a little lighter to carry!!!
